Interns are the STAR OF THE SHOW

Ever had one of those internships where your supervisor is super talented but also harried and although you are shadowing and kind of learning along the way, it feels a little like you’re just “along for the ride”? That’s usually how it works and it SHOULD work that way because social workers are rushing around solving crises on the daily, and interns simply can’t be their first priority.

Yep, our unique program is focused entirely on the growth of the interns, because the better the interns are doing the faster their child clients get better. Interns start out with a comprehensive two week training and then immediately start seeing their own clients! Interns are given intensive weekly supervision and also have a team leader at the ready at all times for day to day questions and support. Interns are coached to work well as members of a team while also having autonomy and 100% of interns in our 2019 survey said they would recommend this internship to others! Each year the team of 40+ interns provides services to a little over 1,000 children across Arizona and they tend to find jobs very quickly with Everybody Matters recommendations!
